Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates in conjunction with the Project Manager; monitors work for quality assurance and quality control, accepted engineering practices and standards, ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned project between all disciplines and all other project assignments. The Project Manager may delegate certain project management responsibilities to the Project Engineer, including day-to-day interaction with the Client's designated representative as well as coordination of all internal activities performed by Haydon's staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Submittal & Shop Drawing Reviews Project Controls including Document Control, RFI's, and Schedule Updates Daily Subcontractor Management Quantity Tracking & Verification including performing work Takeoffs Quality Assurance/Quality Control Requires extensive regular contact with assigned Haydon crews and/or subcontractors Participating in Owner and Subcontractor meetings COMPETENCIES To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data; designs workflows and procedures.
