Field Engineer Intern (Summer 2027) Phoenix, AZ, USA Field Engineer Intern (Summer 2027) Phoenix, AZ, USA Posted Thursday, June 4, 2026 Summary The emphasis for this position is broadening practical knowledge and experience as well as applying professional principles to real problems under the supervision of project management personnel. Project Engineers have responsibility for coordination of technical activities on assigned projects. Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate project work in conjunction with the Project Manager. Monitor work for quality assurance and quality control, accepted engineering practices and standards, and ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned project between all disciplines and project assignments. Essential Job Functions · Assist Project Manager, Project Superintendent and Project Engineer as required · Process RFIs · Responsible for submittal review and shop drawing review · Assist with scheduling, administration, change order pricing, etc. · Assist with quantity ordering, project costing, and forecasting · Schedule updates · Quality assurance/quality control · Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities · Freshmen through Seniors currently enrolled at a four-year institution. · Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related degree. · Proactive, open-minded, eager to learn and willing to work hard as part of a team. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff in a team environment. · Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Office. · Ability to work under pressure to meet internal and client project deadlines without compromising quality. 40
