About this role
Technical Accounting Intern Kuala Lumpur We are currently hiring Technical Accounting Intern based in Malaysian Branch to support Technical Accountant team on the operations and automation tasks. You can look forward to Supporting Property and Casualty Technical Accounting operations. Facilitating the processing of Non-Proportional and Facultative Claims. Managing facultative premium closings. Driving efficiency through automation by supporting data processing and automation tasks. Supporting in ad-hoc tasks as needed. You come equipped with A degree in Accounting, Finance, Insurance, Business Administration, or related fields are required. A basic understanding of insurance/ reinsurance industry would be a plus. Basic knowledge in SAP, VBA and Microsoft Excel are preferred and experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work and PowerPoint) is encouraged. Strong administrative abilities, meticulous and detailed-oriented and a track record of relevant extracurricular activities. You must have strong analytical and precision skills, be resourceful and can work effectively in a team. Good time management and multitasking abilities, be proactive and quick-thinking, and be able to keep confidential information secure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as regular liaison with internal and external stakeholders will be required.
