About this role
Data & Systems Developer London The Role: The Data & Systems Developer will play a critical role in maintaining and modernising the Branch's data and systems landscape, working as part of a dynamic, collaborative team at the heart of the business. The role will take ownership of the development, setup, and ongoing enhancement of local & group solutions. The position will also be responsible for the maintenance, stability, and evolution of the data and analytics estate, including Nucleus and associated reporting solutions, ensuring that the business is empowered to utilise our data. Duties & Responsibilities: Platform & Solution Development • Design, build and maintain new solutions using Databricks, R, Python and Power BI, which support users across the business. • Design and build processes to support the new Single Risk system. • Apply strong software engineering principles to structure scalable, maintainable systems and processes. • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of Nucleus, our data repository. • Contribute to architectural decisions across the data and reporting landscape. • Support the provisioning of data to business users • Ensure reporting solutions are robust, well-governed, and aligned to business and regulatory needs. • Keenness to explore AI integration into our technology landscape Migration of data landscape • Support the retirement of our legacy technology landscape (including Nova), ensuring continuity, stability, and risk mitigation. • Support the ongoing maintenance of ex
