Job Duties Under general supervision, the Superintendent is accountable for all rig operations at project level for up to 3 rigs. Responsible for providing support for all drilling and other well operations taken at the rig site, as well as, ensuring HMS processes are applied in the execution of well construction. Oversee and lead day-to-day drilling initiatives, anticipate operational changes, find and implement remedial solutions to operational drilling problems, and prepare and execute short term and long term plans anticipating required resources (rigs, personnel, services). Capable of supervising, advising, and motivating a diverse team of Well Site Supervisors while emphasizing collaborative teamwork, training, performance, efficiency improvement, safety and environment, cost control, and adherence to established policies and procedures. Identifies methods to apply technology, best drilling practices, service capability and expertise within the context of drilling operations.
