Head of Design – Womenswear (12 month FTC) Solihull, England, United Kingdom Please note, this role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract THE ROLE. This isn't just about designing great product, it's about defining the future of Womenswear at Gymshark. As Head of Design, you'll own the creative vision for one of our most important and fastest-growing categories. You'll lead from the front, inspiring teams, shaping direction, and delivering collections that are not only innovative and performance-led, but deeply connected to our community. You'll balance creativity with commerciality, bringing to life product that looks great, performs even better, and gives our customers a real reason to believe. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING. Set the Vision - Define and lead the creative direction for Womenswear, from seasonal concepts to long-term strategy - Translate consumer, cultural, and market insights into a clear, distinctive product vision - Push boundaries in design, innovation, and performance Lead the Product - Own the end-to-end design process, from first idea through to finished product - Deliver standout collections and product stories that resonate globally - Raise the bar for quality, innovation, and brand consistency Build & Inspire Teams - Lead and develop a world-class Womenswear Design team - Create a high-performance culture rooted in creativity, ownership, and progression - Identify and nurture future talent, building a strong design pipeline Drive Commercial Impact - Partner closely with Product Buying to shape range architecture and pricing - Balance creativity with commercial outcomes, using data and insight to guide decisions
