Must possess basic mechanical skills, including the use of hand tools. Proficient operation of all tools/equip in the dept incl glass bead and carboblast machines. Must possess basic understanding of shop math. Experience in one of the following or other related experience: Sheetmetal, hydraulic, Wheel, Brake overhaul. Position Purpose: Under moderate supervision, repair and certify aircraft wheel and brake assemblies, subassemblies and components in accordance with Gulfstream Repair Station requirements. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Responsible for complying with all corporate or local company procedures. Highlight to the supervisor any procedures that require amending. Setting up operating and cleaning all the necessary wheel & brake bay equipment and tooling. Maintaining all components or parts using the required. CMM's. Maintain and utilise all required. paperwork in accordance with UK CAA requirements. Develop and apply basic skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment, as appropriate to area of specialization. Perform repairs of mechanical and Subassemblies through removals, repair or replacement of defective parts and/or fabrication of replacement parts, and installations in accordance with blueprints, component maintenance manuals, vendor documents, verbal instructions, engineering dispositions and other authorized mainten
