Aircraft Maintenance Technician Team Lead A&P Geographic Location Brunswick, GA in Unique Skills: Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. 8 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical) to include 2 years of relevant Gulfstream aircraft experience. A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required. Valid Driver's License required. Position Purpose: Plan and coordinate various technical functions of aircraft maintenance, repair, replacement, and modification of key aircraft components to ensure proper operation. Provide work directions to technicians performing aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting and repair duties. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Ensure required. maintenance and necessary servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems. Lead the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of mechanical and functional components of the aircraft including airframes, engine components, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems. Coordinate with inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements. Ensure completion of work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and other paperwork in a timely manner. Ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications.
