TECHNICAL MEDIA PRODUCER (PRIMARY) - KFYR KFYR - Station Maybe you've never thought of a career as a Technical Media Producer because you've never heard of it! Or maybe you're nervous about the fact that you don't have any experience in live broadcast production. If you're not afraid of a challenge and work well as a team, then this may be the next step for you. The Technical Media Producer has the general responsibility for directing live or pre-recorded productions, monitoring the station's on-air signals, transmitter, and FCC logs, and ingesting daily programming and commercials. Regular assignments will involve directing newscasts, misc. station productions, special programs, breaking news, live sports, and severe weather.
