About this role

CHIEF METEOROLOGIST - KYTV/KSPR KYTV - Station For the first time in 25 years, KY3, the dominant First Alert weather-driven station in Springfield, MO, is looking for a chief meteorologist. This person should create engaging, informative, and compelling weather stories for on-air and digital (streaming, social, and web) platforms and help the rest of the weather team achieve the same. The best candidate will also coordinate weather community outreach. KY3 has one of the top weather apps in the nation, and the chief will be required to lead the way with updates, videos, and inventive ideas. The chief will also help develop a weather streaming strategy for severe weather and daily shows.
