The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000 - $200,000 + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits determined by role, level, and location. Position reports to the Google San Diego, CA office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per Google policy. Write technical documentation for developers and cloud architects building private Google Cloud solutions. Produce new, high-quality content designed to help customers succeed. Curate and maintain the existing customer-facing content library for accuracy and relevance. Edit, clarify, and proofread technical documents written by engineering and product teams. Coach non-writers and subject matter experts on ways to improve their writing skills. Collaborate with a global team of engineers, product managers, and content strategists. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Professional Writing, English, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Technical Writer-related occupation.
