About this role

Regional IoT Operations and Cyber security specialist, APAC Singapore Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require leaders to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into unique engineering, system reliability, and cyber security challenges. As a Regional IoT Operations and Cyber Security specialist at Google, you will bridge the gap between high-level global strategy and the technical execution required to operate stable, highly-available, and secure building systems and specialized IoT hardware. This is a dual-mandate role where your expertise will perfectly balance operational technology (OT) operations with cyber security risk management. You will serve as the strategic operations and cyber security authority for your region, driving the daily performance and lifecycle management of regional Internet of Things (IoT) systems while defending them against cyber threats. You are equally at home commanding the response to a system outage as you are leading a cyber security incident response, applying your expertise to manage external vendor SLAs or explaining technical risk trade-offs to executives.
