As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. User Protections, part of Core's Privacy, Security, and Safety (PSS) organization, keeps users safe at scale. Within this group, the Egregious Harms Protections team prevents Google's flagship products from being used for the most severe real-world harms, including child exploitation, non-consensual imagery, and violent extremism. We build and deploy cutting-edge, end-to-end abuse intervention technologies that protect users both on and off-platform. In this cross-functional role, you will partner closely with Product, Legal, Policy, and Trust & Safety teams to drive daily, real-world impact.
