Director of Research and Engineering, Health and Home Mountain View, CA, USA This role involves leading a frontier focused research and engineering team focused on delivering an AI-based health, wellness, and home experience that leverages all of the emerging AI capabilities in the computing community, as well as the best that Gemini base model offers. In this role, you will work across many organizations including Research, Product, Program, UX, all other parts of Engineering, and legal/regulatory. You would be fully accountable for marshaling resources, managing all aspects of the team's work in this area, setting and driving the technical and strategic direction, and creating a highly collaborative environment both within and outside of the team. This role demands rapid iteration and explorations through a set of nimble teams. The Google Home team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays. The Home team researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users' homes more helpful.
