About this role

Plant Optimization Leader 2 Locations What You'll Do You will act as the primary plant optimization subject matter expert inside the plant. Teach, coach and mentor leaders and associates to leverage the pillar methodology to drive a sustainable implementation. You will develop a partnership and work closely with the Regional Plant Optimization Manager to understand the plant organization and culture, tire manufacturing processes, deployment progress to date and resources required to drive the implementation. You will support the Plant Leadership Team in the strategic direction and deployment of Plant Optimization to ensure consistent and rigorous application across the plant = "One Goodyear Way". You will drive the development of a problem solving culture amongst all associates focused on loss elimination to deliver business results. You will lead the PO Specialist and share/benchmark with other plants as appropriate. What We are Looking for: You with Minimus of 5 years in management role within manufacturing environment. You with experience in Driving and implementing continuous improvement methodologies and tools. You with working knowledge and/or experience in implementing Lean principles in a manufacturing environment. You with good understanding of human related implementation issue. Good understanding of the Plant Optimization Process. In depth understanding of a minimum of 2 pillars, more is desired. You with experience in implementing pillars successfully into a plant. Experience in using various problem-solving tools & helping with continuous improvement projects. You with Previous experience as Pillar Leader for Plant Optimization is desired. You with good understanding of human related implementation
