Skilled Carpenter - Facilities Groton, CT, US Overview Plant Services Carpenter performs general carpentry assignments such as, but not limited to: repair/replacement of doors and walls installation of ceilings and replacement of tiles fire caulking penetrations railing repairs flooring projects install/replacement of stair treads window repairs locksmith services installation of LKM & CDX locking devices installation of shelving repair/replacement of bathroom partitions hanging of Christmas wreaths, pictures, banners, white boards, bulleting/cork boards AED medical heart devices signs cutting of tree limbs with a chain saw demolition and renovation projects working with sketches and drawings and carpentry related preps for Christening ceremonies. Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED or 2 years of related technical experience 5+ years of carpentry experience Preferred: 1+ years of commercial construction experience Skills Being a self-starter and capable of working alone with minimal supervision Trustworthy and complying with EB core values Strong Safety performance. Strong absenteeism performance. Strong communication skills Strong cooperation skills and being a team player Working in hot and cold environment conditions. Experience in operating power shop tools to include; table saws, drill press, jointer, planner, radial alarm saw, etc. Capable of reading and interpreting blue print drawings.
