About this role

Engineer VI General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems. This position is senior project engineer in the advanced C2 systems group supporting the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) program. In this role you will be expected to conduct detailed design, requirements management, and work with individual groups for the development of hardware, software, network, cyber, airworthiness and other program components to produce C2 systems for the CCA platform. Responsibilities include supporting or running Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings involving all key internal and external stakeholders. This role is also responsible for the completion of development of software and hardware and the transition to Systems Integration Lab (SIL), ground, and flight test of those C2 systems. Travel will be required to customer sites and our test facilities near Palmdale CA as well as various government offices around the United States.
