About this role

Business Process Analyst I General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems. We are looking for a driven, organized, and analytically minded Business Process Analyst (BPA) for the Business Product Solution (BPS) group within the Mechanical Engineering Department of GA-ASI. The BPS group acts as the spearhead to develop and maintain cross-functional internal software tools to be used for project planning, design controls and resource management. The BPA will interface between our group and the entire Functional Engineering Organization. Within this role they will have the opportunity to network with others, communicate regularly with leadership, help shape the goals of the group, and contribute to the creation of the tools. This position will be located in Poway, CA. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Analyzes, validates, and develops requirements for internally developed software tools; develops systems requirements, techniques, and controls; and supports implementation efforts of requirements. - Helps represent the BPS group and all its products with leadership, partner groups, and end users (Engineers and Managers). - Provides training and documentation for internal tools and processes to all end users. - Manages available resource and project planning data to develop analytics tools, dashboards, and reports in support of the other Project Control activities and groups. - Organizes, prioritizes, and helps track through completion all new tool requests, feature improvements, upgrades, and bug fixes to current solutions. - Responsible
