Service & Repair Planner 2 Olathe, Kansas Overview We are seeking a full-time Service & Repair Planner 2 at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for performing semi-complex supply chain management relating to materials planning, purchasing, and manufacturing and provides input in the development of planning procedures. Essential Functions Plans the repair of current production items and manages service parts inventory to support customer needs after the end of mass production Full use and understanding of supply chain, systems, and processes used by area Understands/owns accountability for department KPI's Evaluates data for decision-making purposes/makes recommendations and commands supply chain processes defined in assigned area of responsibility Recognizes issues, explores solutions, and provides timely responses Applies Garmin's mission statement and quality policy, and exhibits enthusiasm for and a desire to see Garmin succeed Actively contributes to discussions in team initiative toward goal resolution, provides guidance to Planner 1 associates, and plans own daily workload with ability to identify priorities Cleanliness zone area requirements: This position requires Garmin provided personal protective equipment including SD shoes (Static Dissipative Footwear) to be always worn for an entire shift to minimize the risk of electrostatic discharge (ESD) and meet specified standards Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum of 2 years relevant experience Demonstrates all the competencies of Planner 1 Understands/implements best practices and has a solid understanding of warehouse, manufacturing, and service processes Demonstrated strong/effective/professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to
