Manufacturing Engineer Miramar, Florida Overview We are seeking a full-time Manufacturing Engineer in our Miramar, FL location. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that production lines are operating safely, effectively and efficiently by focusing on maintaining, developing and operating manufacturing systems. Essential Functions Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research Maintains, develops and operates processes Responsible for keeping production costs down while maintaining quality of product or service Ensures product and process quality by designing testing methods Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends Demonstrates extensive knowledge/insights to manufacturing projects Demonstrates manufacturing line balancing and support to the factory Develops process instructions Demonstrates understanding of Lean Philosophy Creates routings Identifies/resolves defects of basic scope using proper engineering tools and techniques Communicates status of work clearly by providing visibility, thoroughly documents work in an organized manner, works collaboratively/professionally in a team environment, and shares information and ideas freely with other associates to achieve goals Identifies/resolves defects of basic scope using proper engineering tools and techniques Remains current on new technologies utilized in the manufacturing processes Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in an engineering related discipline in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering discipline OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule) with the demonstrated ability to apply learned knowledge Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated capability for applying industry standards
