About This Role: Reporting to the Director of Finance Projects and Revenue, the Revenue Staff Accountant is part of Forrester's Global Revenue Accounting Team responsible for accurately recording consolidated revenue for all of the organization's entities. This role is integral within finance and works closely with the revenue team to ensure worldwide revenue is compliant with accounting and reporting standards. In addition to revenue responsibilities, this role has cross-functional opportunities to partner with Forrester's sales and consulting organizations on various business processes that have a financial statement impact. Job Description: Process contract modifications and terminations under ASC 606, including revenue impact calculations. Work on projects that directly affect the contract modification process; ensure updates to SFDC CPQ and other related systems are working correctly. Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts as part of the month-end close. Prepare journal entries. Prepare and submit sales tax filings.
