About this role
Associate Research Scientist, Statistical Programming Durham office Reimagine the infrastructure of cancer care within a community that values integrity, inspires growth, and is uniquely positioned to create a more modern, connected oncology ecosystem. We're looking for an Associate Statistical Programmer who is well-versed in R to help us accomplish our mission to improve and extend lives by learning from the experience of every person with cancer. Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care? What You'll Do In this role, you will work as a member of the Research Sciences (RS) department, primarily supporting the Custom Solutions and Services (CSS) team within the Client Solutions organization. This team provides customized real-world data and real-world evidence solutions to address the most important research questions across clinical development, market access, and commercial use cases for our life sciences partners. As part of CSS, you will: - Accurately translate analytic specifications from a statistical analysis plan into R code to create analytic datasets, generate descriptive and inferential statistics, and visualizations, etc, in consultation with the more senior programmers and/or study principal investigator - Build subject matter expertise and discuss capabilities of a variety of different Flatiron data modalities, including EHR-derived real-world data, clinico-genomics data, and claims data - Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders across our medical and scientific organization to execute and deliver on client-sponsored research studies in an accurate, effective, and timely manner - Contribute to continuous improvement of Flatiron's proprietary analytical tooling and templates - Continue to develop
