About this role

Associate Research Scientist, Statistical Programming Durham office Reimagine the infrastructure of cancer care within a community that values integrity, inspires growth, and is uniquely positioned to create a more modern, connected oncology ecosystem. We're looking for an Associate Statistical Programmer who is well-versed in R to help us accomplish our mission to improve and extend lives by learning from the experience of every person with cancer. What You'll Do In this role, you will work as a member of the Research Sciences (RS) department, primarily supporting the Custom Solutions and Services (CSS) team within the Client Solutions organization. This team provides customized real-world data and real-world evidence solutions to address the most important research questions across clinical development, market access, and commercial use cases for our life sciences partners. As part of CSS, you will: - Accurately translate analytic specifications from a statistical analysis plan into R code to create analytic datasets, generate descriptive and inferential statistics, and visualizations, etc, in consultation with the more senior programmers and/or study principal investigator - Build subject matter expertise and discuss capabilities of a variety of different Flatiron data modalities, including EHR-derived real-world data, clinico-genomics data, and claims data - Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders across our medical and scientific organization to execute and deliver on client-sponsored research studies in an accurate, effective, and timely manner - Contribute to continuous improvement of Flatiron's proprietary analytical tooling and templates - Continue to develop
