We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Director of Indirect Tax to lead our indirect tax function. This position reports to the Chief Accounting Officer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SaaS, telecom tax and regulatory filings, a strong understanding of US sales/use tax, Canadian GST/HST, International VAT/GST, and experience with FCC/USAC filings. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with all indirect tax laws and regulations, as well as identifying and implementing tax-saving strategies. Key Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of three indirect tax professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. - Oversee all aspects of indirect tax compliance for SaaS/Telecom products, including the preparation and filing of transactional tax returns, US Sales/Use Tax, Canadian GST/HST, and other provincial filings. - Manage and ensure timely and accurate filing of all state and federal regulatory filings, such as FCC/USAC reports, State PSC reports, and Canadian CRTC filings. - Develop and implement strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax positions. - Provide tax guidance on new product introductions
