Job Description: The Disposal Technician is responsible for the proper disposal of spent chemicals, process waste, and unused laboratory samples used in the laboratory, according to corporate, federal, state and local guidelines. Responsible for safely transporting process waste and unused samples within the laboratory environment. This is a physical job and involves moving around, lifting, bending, disposing of garbage. It is dirty and the environmental samples can have strong odors. Responsibilities include: Proper disposal of samples. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the waste disposal room and loading dock area including waste removal throughout the day.
