We're hiring a Corporate Development Counsel to support our Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO and we're looking for someone who's ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. You will be responsible for managing the legal aspects of our M&A and strategic investment activities from start to finish-from initial structuring and due diligence to negotiation, closing, and integration. This is a highly visible position that requires close collaboration with senior leadership, business teams, and stakeholders across the company. The ideal candidate is a "deal-person" at heart who balances expert legal advice with a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset. Primary Responsibilities - Structure, draft, and negotiate key transaction documents for acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments (e.g., term sheets, LOIs, merger agreements, asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, and investment/shareholder agreements). - Lead and manage the end-to-end legal due diligence process. This includes coordinating internal specialists (e.g., IP, privacy, employment, tax), managing virtual data rooms, identifying and quantifying key risks, and summarizing findings for business stakeholders. -
