Audio Visual Technician II - NYC (Req 1240) New York, NY Overview *Candidates must be located in or near the New York City metro area* As an Audio Visual (AV) Technician , you will provide user support and customer service on company supported Audio Visual equipment, applications and platforms. Troubleshoot problems, report on usage, usability and advise on the appropriate action, managing each request until completion. Your Impact - Demonstrate a solid understanding of audio and video theory, including the use of test equipment to ensure fully functional systems. - Maintain current knowledge of vendor technologies and product offerings. - Perform cable pulling and termination for audio, video, control, and network systems with proficiency. - Apply basic construction and electrical concepts effectively in AV installations. - Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently. - Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining high-quality standards. - Exhibit initiative and a results-driven mindset, balancing quality with timely execution. - Communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, vendors, and management, presenting a professional and positive image. - Work independently and collaboratively, managing diverse technical situations and customer needs. - Lead projects and guide team members to successful outcomes. - Bring a forward-thinking, innovative, and enthusiastic approach to team collaboration. - Interface confidently with internal and external stakeholders using a solutions-oriented mindset. - Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude. - Deliver excellent customer service across all interactions. Qualifications - High School Diploma - 7+ years of Audio/Visual installation technical experience
