Utility Foreman - Relay State Texas | City Conroe Job Title: Work Place Flexibility: Legal Entity: JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Utility Foreman - Relay is primarily responsible for supervising and performing installations, maintenance and testing of substation protective systems and SCADA systems. The relay foreman will supervise emergency activities associated with the restoration of relay and substation equipment. The relay foreman promotes safe work behaviors and actions from all assigned crews. The relay foreman provides a professional point of contact for contractors and internal/external customers. The relay foreman must be available for callouts and extended hours. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and perform all aspects of installation and maintenance of substation protective systems Supervise and perform all aspects of installation and maintenance of substation SCADA systems Supervise and organize emergency activities associated with the restoration of relay and/or substation equipment Provide field training to relay crews on a wide array of protective devices, schemes and philosophies Assist crews in performing relay and SCADA testing and commissioning Provide a professional point of contact for contractors, internal/external customers, and design groups Ensures compliance with Configuration Management and system protection regulatory procedures and processes Facilitate and support activities associated with the realization of departmental and company goals Assure a safe work environment exists and actively and progr
