Junior Spot Buyer Country Romania Role Purpose The “Spot Buyer” performs a key role working directly with prescriptors and suppliers. This mission concerns procurement of intellectual services, software and materials based on Group agreements. Key Responsibilities “Spot Buy sourcing” consultants based on Group agreements (IT, Technical assistance, Functional assistance). Training & Support for Specifiers Various enquiries from specifiers and suppliers VMS data quality Defining VMS usage policies / Connecting with the VMS Admin team / Providing expert analysis and reporting to various stakeholders (Catman/GLB/Entities) Seasonal activity of renewal campaigns (GBS IT / ENGIE DIGITAL / GEMS & E&C) Processing software purchase requests Processing requests for the purchase of equipment Key Competencies Technical Knowledge of a VMS (Vendor Management System) and basic contractual elements Understanding of procurement procedures, governance, and digital tools Soft skills Ability to work on own initiatives, deadlines and targets Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric, service-oriented mindset, and confidence in engaging with stakeholders Flexibility, resilience Teamplayer with a highly collaborative way of working Ability to listen and understand internal customers Critical thinking skills with the ability to apply documented guidance to specific contexts, recognizing that each need is unique Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in procurement, business, economics, or similar; procurement of intell
