Engineering Advisor - Electrical Country United States What You Can Expect At ENGIE, we are accelerating the energy transition by building utility-scale renewable energy projects across North America. Our team designs and delivers wind, solar, and energy storage facilities that power communities and protect our planet. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Advisor to lead substation and protection & control engineering across our utility-scale renewables portfolio. In this role, you won't just review designs, you'll define how projects are designed, built, and operated, while partnering across development, construction, and operations - making a direct impact on the clean energy infrastructure of tomorrow. What You Will Do Lead development of substation and protection & control technical specifications for detailed design and construction across wind, solar, and storage projects Manage external engineering firms and EPC subcontractors to achieve the highest standards of engineering quality and project execution Direct design reviews of high voltage substations and transmission protection schemes, including relay one-lines, three-line diagrams, ground grids, and wiring diagrams Develop and update internal engineering standards in collaboration with Operations Engineering to drive continuous improvement and standardization Coordinate engineering design efforts with EPC partners and owners' engineers, reviewing submittals and ensuring alignment with project requirements Support procurement in running RFPs and mana
