ENGIE North America is seeking an experienced Remote Operations professional to lead a newly formed team across a ~12GW fleet consisting of solar, wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) assets across North America. Reporting to the Director of Asset Optimization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring ENGIE's generating assets operate safely, efficiently, and in alignment with industry-leading standards. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the 24x7 Remote Operations team comprised of both command / control and monitoring / maintenance sub-team Lead interactions with interconnected teams such as Field Service, Performance / Reliability, and Engineering to align priorities and optimize asset performance Lead control testing and SCADA related initiatives for new and existing assets in coordination with engineering and IT support functions Facilitate coordination with 24 x 7 real-time market desk to optimize asset financial performance Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to report findings and support corrective actions. Collaborate with both internal and external compliance professionals to ensure compliance of operational assets Collaborate with a variety of teams and use existing / new tools to ensure the continuous safety of both personnel and equipment Lead the development of protocols and procedures
