Cloud Engineer Senior_ITCE1I Country United States What You Can Expect As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, deployment and operation of cloud-native architectures supporting ENGIE's Distributed Solar & Storage activities. You will contribute to building secure, resilient and high-performance cloud platforms, primarily on AWS, while also leveraging Databricks (Microsoft Azure) where relevant. You will be working closely with key business stakeholders, enabling digital solutions that support asset monitoring, optimization and business processes across the energy value chain. Design, build, and operate cloud architectures and applications on AWS (primary) and Microsoft Azure (secondary) in alignment with ENGIE's cloud strategy, security standards, and best practices. Apply DevOps and SRE principles, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, alerting, resilience, and incident management. Ensure scalability, availability, and cost-efficiency of cloud infrastructures that support digital products and operational platforms. Develop and maintain automation and integrations of services and platforms such as Lambda, IoT Core, Firehose, SQS, and DocumentDB. Support data platforms and analytics workloads, including integration with Databricks and cloud data services like data lakes, streaming, and batch processing.
