Job Summary This field oversight role is responsible for contract and specification compliance of transmission and substation construction projects to include monitoring contractor performance, material receipts, and coordinating construction activities. Inspects and monitors contractor work for compliance with Dominion Energy's Safety requirements, Contract documents, Policies, and Procedures (quality, safety, schedule, specifications and environmental). Maintains schedule and reports to management on project status including weekly Progress Reporting. Coordinates and communicates with internal and external partners regarding major construction and maintenance projects. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and acts as the interface with appropriate agencies. Works with other Dominion Energy teams to resolve disputes and maintain a positive relationship with property owners, business owners, and the public. Assist Project Manager to identify transmission line outages, headways, durations, and clearance zones. Communicates with SOC for switching and receiving transmission line clearances.
