Job Summary This role will be assigned a specific engineering program (for example: Maintenance Rule, Inservice Inspection, Inservice Testing, Snubbers, ASME Section XI, etc) as the site lead as well as serve as a backup to other program leads on the team. This individual will also be involved with the engineering department work processes, scheduling (online and refueling outage), and Department Self Evaluation Meetings (DSEM). This role does not function as a technician in modifying, operating or maintaining systems or equipment. Provides technical support, direction and advice in analyzing and evaluating systems, equipment and programs. Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. Devises new approaches to problems encountered and develops engineering criteria ensuring compliance with design criteria and standards. Implements technology within an engineering field. Applies scientific and engineering principles and methods, along with technical skills, to support engineering activities. May provide technical project manageme
