Registered Nurse- Rehabilitation and Extended Care Float Pool Minneapolis, Minnesota Summary The Rehabilitation & Extended Care Float Pool RN is responsible for providing patient care in a variety of clinical areas including Community Living Center (CLC), Behavioral Recovery Unit, Hospice/Palliative Care, Spinal Cord Injury & Disorders, and Acute Polytrauma. The Float Pool RN is expected to support patient care initiatives and provide quality care in each clinical setting. Float Pool RN is expected to participate in program quality improvement and professional governance initiatives. Duties This is an open continuous announcement that will remain open until July 28, 2026 or until all vacancies are filled. Qualified applicants will be considered and referred on a regular basis as vacancies exist. Major Duties include but are not limited to: Administration & Monitoring of Medications Advanced Vascular Access Care and Maintenance Facilitation of Homecare referrals and recommendations to support ongoing veteran needs Recognizes and supports Suicide Prevention initiatives Work collaboratively with all levels of health care professional and support staff to facilitate positive patient care outcomes Compliance with various Isolation Precautions and Infection Control Guidelines Patient and caregiver education and support Participation in High Reliability Organization (HRO) & professional governance initiatives VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package: VA Nurse Total Rewards Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory Work Schedule: All Tours Available.
