About this role

Program Support Assistant - Home Based Primary Care Columbia, Missouri Summary The position serves as a Program Support Assistant to an assigned Home-Based Primary Care (HBPC) PACT team, under the supervision of the HBPC Program Director. The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistant level support to the Program Director, Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, Medical Director and the HBPC interdisciplinary staff. Duties The incumbent provides administrative services to Veterans such as determining the eligibility of patients for admission to the HBPC program, assisting with administrative completion of forms or documents, etc., as well as assisting other HBPC PACTs as the need arises. The incumbent plays an integral role in identifying and developing ways to resolve problems with the administrative and clinical staff on customer service, patient flow, revenue and data validation issues. Duties may include but are not limited to: Performs general clerical and administrative duties to include preparing correspondence; meeting minutes; compiling reports; extracting and organizing data; reviewing documents for accuracy; maintaining files; and, managing and maintaining databases. Executes several office automation functions such as storing and retrieving electronic documents and files; formatting letters; creating and compiling HBPC weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports and memoranda; and, preparing materials for publications such as pamphlets, forms, graphs or technical manuals. Performs as HBPC timekeeper for staff including payroll software and time and leave requirements. Maintains a calendar and coordinates meetings (i.e., interdisciplinary staff meetings, care planning meetings) and conference calls as well as prepares materials for these
