Physician (Regular Ft) Primary Care Clarksburg, West Virginia Summary NOTE: The 2-page Resume requirement does not apply to this occupational series. For more information, refer to Required Documents below. The Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center is located in Clarksburg, West Virginia and serves a veteran population of approximately 70,000 in north central West Virginia and adjacent counties in Maryland, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center provides primary care and basic mental health services at four CBOCs. Duties This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until November 30, 2026. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be May 21, 2026 with subsequent cut-off date every two weeks. Provide medical services to Veterans on an outpatient basis in the primary care setting. Disease processes include, but are not limited to: diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, mental health disorders, comprehensive women's health care, etc., with a major focus on preventive medicine. Lead the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) approach in the delivery of care, which emphasizes a team based approach to healthcare. Document all medical information in an electronic medical record. Perform medication reconciliation. Provide effective delivery of outpatient care while meeting and exceeding compliance standards. Maintain current clinical privileges, licensure, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and all other requirements as appropriate.
