Physician-Primary Care (Daytona Beach) Daytona Beach, Florida Summary *****A recruitment/relocation incentive may be offered to highly qualified candidate(s).***** The incumbents will serve as a Primary Care Physician located within the Daytona Beach VA Clinic assigned to the Ambulatory Care Service. Assignments to other facilities within the Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS) and travel to the site, may be required to meet the needs of the service. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) - Please see below. Duties The Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS) is currently seeking outstanding full-time Family Practice or Internal Medicine trained Physicians to join our Primary Care Clinic Team as a Primary Care Provider. This incumbent will be responsible to provide comprehensive medical care, under the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model, to a panel of patients managed under PCMM guidelines. The incumbent is expected to be attentive to patient education, preventive care and be able to work well in an interdisciplinary team to provide high quality primary care. The incumbent will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manages chronic conditions, evaluates and treats inter-current medical conditions. Determine medical assessment and develop treatment plans according to accepted protocols. Collaborates with a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) to provide accessible, comprehensive, coordinated, continuous care to an assigned panel of patients. Must provide comprehensive care for female veterans as a Women's Health PCP including age appropriate cervical and breast cancer screening, menopause and contraceptive
