About this role

Physician - PACT Fredericksburg, Virginia Summary This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply. Duties We are seeking a qualified Physician- PACT to join our team at the Fredericksburg, Veterans Affairs Health Care Center, affiliated with the Richmond, Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The incumbent of this position provides integrated outpatient, accessible health care services with their health care teams who are accountable for addressing a large majority of personal health care needs, developing a sustained partnership with patients, and practicing in the context of family and community. The care is person-centered, team-based, community-aligned, and designed to achieve better health, better care, and lower costs. The incumbent is specifically trained to provide comprehensive primary care services through residency or fellowship training in acute and chronic care settings. The Fredericksburg Veterans Affairs Health Care Center offers a comprehensive range of outpatient services for Veterans in the Northern Virginia and Central Virginia area, including Primary Care and Mental Health services.
