Nursing Assistant-Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program Saint Cloud, Minnesota Summary This Nursing Assistant position is located within the at the Saint Cloud VA Medical Center in Saint Cloud, MN,This Nursing Assistant position supports residents in the Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program by providing safe physical and emotional care, assisting with daily interventions, observing and reporting changes, and helping Veterans work toward greater self-care in a therapeutic environment. Duties Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional Major duties include, but are not limited to: Provide resident care following established procedures and applicable policies. Collect and document patient data, including vital signs and specimens. Observe physical and emotional status and report changes to the charge nurse. Maintain clean, organized clinical areas and restock supplies. Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and team members. Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and team members. Facilitate patient education or recovery groups and complete documentation. Collaborate with staff supporting tele-health activities. Use proper techniques and safety precautions, including protective equipment. Initiate appropriate emergency interventions and maintain a safe environment. Work Schedule: Full-time schedules available. Shifts are scheduled Sunday through Saturday, 7:30am - 4:00pm, 3:30pm - 12:00am, and 7:30am - 8:00pm. Rotating weekends and holidays are required. Additional Pay: Shift Differential - 10% of basic pay for work performed during regularly scheduled hours between 6pm and 6am. (Not authorized for intermittent work schedules) Weekend Premium - 25% of basic pay for work performed between the hours of midnight Friday and midnight Sunday.
