Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (BHIP MH Treatment Coordinator) EDRP Approved Multiple Locations Summary The Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) serves as a member of the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP). BHIP is a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals which provides comprehensive, accessible, Veteran-centered mental health care. The BHIP Mental Health Treatment Coordinator (MHTC) is responsible for various aspects of assessing, diagnosing, treating, and coordinating the treatment of Veterans within BHIP and the Mental Health Service Line. Duties The first cutoff for consideration is 02/08/2026. Additional applications will be referred as needed. The Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) serves as a member of the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP). BHIP is a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals which provides comprehensive, accessible, Veteran-centered mental health care. The BHIP Mental Health Treatment Coordinator (MHTC) will be a member of all BHIP teams within the clinic and is responsible for various aspects of assessing, diagnosing, treating, and coordinating the treatment of Veterans within BHIP and the Mental Health Service Line. BHIP Mental Health Treatment Coordinator (MHTC) is responsible for various aspects of assessing, diagnosis, treating, and coordinating the treatment of Veterans within BHIP and the Mental Health Service Line. This includes, but is not limited to, providing services through the telehealth modality across several sites of care with the VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System (VATVCBHCS). The LPMHC serves on committees, work groups, and task forces at the facility, VISN and national level, or in the community
