Caregiver Support Program-Registered Nurse Multiple Locations Summary The Caregiver Support Program (CSP) includes the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers (PCAFC) and the Program of General Caregiver Support Services (PGCSS) within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care. Provides a state-of-the-art continuum of services, education, and resources to caregivers of Veterans with complex needs. Duties This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis and will remain on file through 07-29-2026. Initial review will be conducted approximately two weeks from the release date of this announcement. Then, eligible applicants will be referred as vacancies occur, on an as-needed basis until positions are filled. This Vacancy Announcement may be removed at any point during the open period. The Caregiver Support Program (CSP) Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care. Duties of the position include, but are not limited to: Provide state-of-the-art continuum of services, education, and resources to caregivers of Veterans with complex needs. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care based on age-specific components. Assume responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient and caregiver education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care. Follow procedures per established policies and guidelines. Influence care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team.
