SECURITY ASSISTANT (OA) Bridgeport, California Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Duties You will serve in one of the following areas within the Services Section: Pass and ID/Vehicle Registration; Police Records; Contractor Security; Visitors Center; Blotter Entry, Supply, Civilian Court and Motor Transport Dispatch. You will register vehicles aboard the installation. (Police Records) You will record traffic citation data in various databases and adjudicated traffic citation upon customer walk-in or telephonic contracts, awarding the required number of points as identified in regulations. (Police Records) You will process contractors/vendors for local businesses/contractor's base access passes. (Contractor Security) You will update applicable databases, perform Local Records Background Check and issue a temporary pass following the completion of a National Crime Information Cener (NCIC) check. (Contractor Security) You will receive and process Sponsored Visitor Forms (SVF). (Visitors Center) You will prepare, maintain and file the daily blotter and all relevant correspondence, records and documents, required by policy, governing the operation of the PMO/MCPD. (Blotter) You will be responsible for controlling, issuing, retrieving and maintaining accountability of PMO/MCPD supplies and equipment. (Supply) You will periodically visit local jails, detention facilities and civil course
