QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST Kings Bay, Georgia Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Duties You will provide Quality Assurance Specialists (QAS) responsible for assuring contractors and government adherence to contract, quality and technical requirements during the processing of missile systems and components. You will evaluate government systems and procedures associated with handling, transportation, and storage of ready for issue missiles. You will assure contractor and government systems are in place which meet the contractual and government quality requirements, and that implementation procedures are adequate for assuring the functional integrity of the system. You will monitor processing operations to ensure contractor and government adherence to processing requirements and assure missile hardware is processed in a consistent manner, and in accordance with approved procedures. You will verify performance and results of nondestructive tests of parts, assemblies and material, to assure conformance with applicable standards, specifications and requirements. You will perform investigations and analyses related to technical and quality systems, hardware and documentation, including data collection for trend analysis to determine the cause(s) of discrepancies/deficiencies. You will negotiate and assist contractors and government personnel to resolve technical and quality assurance/quality control issues. Education
