About this role

PROTOCOL SPECIALIST Patuxent River, Maryland Summary You will serve as a PROTOCOL SPECIALIST in the NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND (NAVAIR)/PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICES of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND. Duties You will plan, coordinate and direct the protocol office activities for NAVAIR/NAWC and NAS leadership. You will act as focal point for conferences/symposiums hosted by Commander, NAVAIR, Commander, NAWCAD, PEOs, and CO NAS. You will be responsible for the oversight and management of personnel assigned to the Protocol Office. You will coordinate visits via verbal and written communications with high-ranking military and civilian officials, including the Secretary of Defense, Service Chiefs, Combatant Commanders, Members of Congress, and foreign dignitaries. You will respond to visitor's questions regarding the historical background of PAE(A), PAE(M), NAVAIR, NAWCAD, NAS, their missions, facilities, programs and capabilities Evaluation In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered.
