NUCLEAR ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS INSPECTOR (SHIPS) TRAINING LEADER Bremerton, Washington Summary You will serve as a NUCLEAR ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS INSPECTOR (SHIPS) TRAINING LEADER in the Nuclear Inspection Division, Code 139, Quality Assurance Office of PSNS and IMF. Duties You will Lead or assist a group of three or more Nuclear Electrical Systems Inspectors (Ships) in completing complex jobs to support work evolutions. You will Lead the daily work effort with crew to set the pace, checks work while in progress as well as when completed to ensure that predetermined standards of quality, work procedures, and sequence established by the supervisor have all been met. You will Monitor work while in progress and when finished to verify work sequence, procedures, methods and deadlines have been met. You will Lead crews with periodic checks of materials, equipment, tools, and vehicles. You will Perform electronic, electrical and electro-mechanical inspections on highly sophisticated and complex nuclear reactor plant systems. You will Perform material condition assessment inspections, product, in-process, pre-test, test inspections, certification and acceptance of completed work reviews on nuclear reactor plant, refueling, and overhaul work. You will Perform surveillances of ongoing or completed work to ensure compliance. You will Maintain records of inspections performed. You will Ensure reactor grade cleanliness is maintained in accordance with directives and specifications. You will Perform receipt inspections, pre-use inspection and marking verification of naval nuclear material ensuring proper material control and traceability is maintained.
