About this role

IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK) Camp H.M. Smith Marine Corp Base, Hawaii Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Certain Personnel/Modified DHA. Duties You will be responsible for management, operations, maintenance and trouble resolution for Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and Audio Visual (AV) systems. You will manage complex VTC/AV system configurations and maintain video endpoints, multi-point conferencing units, management systems and network devices. You will review and revise engineering drawings that illustrate the system block diagrams, floor plans, and wiring, circuit block and power diagrams. You will act as the technical subject matter expert on committees, seminars, working groups, and meetings to plan and adopt information systems. You will critically evaluate engineering proposals to implement new systems and capabilities into the organization and recommend new technology or processes when appropriate.
