About this role

INSTALLATION TRAINING OFFICER Guantanamo Bay, Cuba Summary You will serve as an Installation Training Officer in the Commander Navy Installations Command of NAVSTA GTMO, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Duties You will advise, counsel, or instruct employees on work or administrative matters. You will conduct negotiations to settle matters involving significant or controversial issues. You will coordinate with staff on an international training program. You will plan and organize customer reviews to verify that customer requirements are being followed. You will advise stakeholders on processes, technical standards, and methodologies to use to solve installation issues or challenges. You will collaborate with other organizations to develop training in technical data management processes and techniques. You create planning or policy documents that identify, monitor, and support required levels of training and readiness as units execute their required respective individual, basic, integrated and advanced training processes. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
