About this role

AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT DISPATCHER Barstow, California Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Duties You will provide support to the Barstow dispatch office as well as coordinate transportation activity with other regional activities. You will dispatch a variety of vehicles to meet specific work requirements, issue trip tickets, maintain inputs into the fleet management information system, and perform transportation clerical support. You will communicate and coordinate with the maintenance section to schedule vehicles for preventative maintenance services. You will monitor phones, email traffic, and the automated fleet management information system to ensure effective communication with customers, motor vehicle operators, other region dispatchers, and other personnel. Education In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: 4 years above high school A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
