This National Guard position is for a TITLE 32 TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST (MOBILE DEVICES) (MI G6), Position Description Number NGD3029100 and is part of the MI JFHQ Army, Michigan Army National Guard. MICHIGAN ARMY NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED. Duties ***THIS IS A TITLE 32 NATIONAL GUARD POSITION THAT REQUIRES MILITARY MEMBERSHIP*** This position is located at the Joint Force Headquarters (State) in the Chief Information Officer CIO/G6 Directorate. This position works in the customer support section and is directly supervised by the Mobility Device Manager, Service Desk Manager or designee. The primary purpose of this position is to support the organization's mobile device program and executive communications. The incumbent is responsible for supporting program aspects of configuring, deploying and providing direct support for handheld assets such as mobile telephones, tablets, mobile hot-spots and temporarily assigned handheld assets used by faculty, staff and participants. 1. Addresses problems; installs, configures, troubleshoots, and provides maintenance and training in response to customer requirements or inquiries (e.g., tiered-level customer support). provides initial incident information to the Incident Response (IR) Specialty. Receives requests for resolution of hardware or software problems that may require in-depth research. Analyzes customer problems and researches possible solutions or tasks with the appropriate subject matter
