About this role
Supervisory Information Systems Specialist Scott AFB, Illinois Summary About the Position: Incumbent will serve as the Branch Chief in the Automated Transportation Systems Division responsible for meeting the needs of the Department Of War (DoW) and the U.S. Army Transportation Command for automated systems designed to support the distribution and deployment process for transportation of surface cargo. Duties Develop project objectives to guide project direction. Review and submit oversight reports to meet requirements. Coordinate actions with other DoD organizations to ensure integrated solutions. Formulate budgets to secure necessary funding. Brief various stakeholders on system capabilities to defend program objectives. Align IT solutions with strategic goals to support business processes. Guide the development of application design standards to ensure consistency. Promote team building to improve business practices and work operations. Resolve employee grievances to maintain a positive work environment. Determine selections for subordinate non-supervisory positions. Monitor contract deliverables to ensure they meet acceptable requirements. Identify training needs of employees to support their development.
